So today was Mum day! Yes I have a day once a year designated to the mums of Pennsylvania. I take my mums seriously. Many people here do, in fact. However, I have the best mum secret of all. A little local farm about 20 miles down the road........Oak Grove Farm.....the best mums in town in my opinion. I make it a tradition to go there a few times in the fall, and have become friends with the sweet owners. Alright so friends might be stretching, but they are always so kind and friendly to me and my kids:) They sell fresh produce, large size mums three for $12, all sorts and varieties of pumpkins (which I am obsessed with the weird ones), and (the list goes on) all the beautiful bright Zenia's, sunflowers, and wild flowers you can fit in a large vase for $3. A Steal of a deal for all of the above. I can't wait to go again soon.
