Christmas Caroling.

This is one of the first years that we are here for the Holidays as our own little family.  Far, far from home....with no family near.  Can you tell I am feeling a tad sorry for myself today.

With that being said....life truly has been great this holiday season so far.  Mike's family every year since the time he was born went Christmas caroling and delivered gifts to friends in the neighborhood.
It is a must in the family to participate.....even now as adults.  The one requirement for joining the family.  In fact I am a bit surprised I didn't have to audition when dating Mike.  I would have failed terribly.

Every year when we are home during Christmas we go with the Sumko's Christmas caroling.

This year Mike was determined to continue the tradition in our family.

He rounded up the crew and set up practice five minute before we headed out. We recruited a couple of neighbors Austyn and Ikey to come along to help.  We were all about numbers to help make up for our lack of music ability.

As you can see the practice was intense....haha.  We went from practicing a few songs, to just singing one.... We Wish You A Merry Christmas.

I was tickled to see the kids so excited to go Christmas caroling, especially and surprisingly....Mikey.

We went to about 7 houses in our little circle.  It was like trick or treating with cookies.  These two little buddies made me laugh all along the way.  And the beauty of our singing was that no one could help but not smile and love it with these little faces greeting them, handing them cookies at their door.
