The Baptism.

The main event in our little families life as of late was 

Alyssa's baptism.

It is surely great to be the eight, and just as great to be a parent of this eight year old.

It was an extra special day with lots of cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents there for occasion.  

She was baptized at the same place I was, and many of our family was.

It made for some really nostalgic moments.  

I haven't felt so much love in one room for a long time, and I could barely make it through with a dry eye.  I kept envisioning ALL my family there with love.  

Grandma Sumko and others helped make it extra special.  She made Greek yogurt and homeade granola to feed the masses....

We had a parfait bar brunch after at the home I grew up in.....

We had important family travel from afar.....

It was wonderful to have to have so much family participate in the program.

It was a special day, and one I hope we will all not forget soon.
