We are in the middle of packing for a trip to Upstate New York for quick weekend camping trip, and to watch the Palmyra Pageant.
The three oldest are in charge of packing some items they want to take along for the road. I told them as long as they can fit it in their backpacks...they can take whatever they want.
It is very telling what each of them are packing, and fits their personalities to perfection.
Mikey: A ziplock baggy full of legos, his DS.....and that't basically it. He is distraught because he just can't think of anything else he wants to take.:)
Alyssa: Two books, her journal, her favorite pen, her pink bracelet one of her cousins gave her, a special blanket from her Grandma. Everything perfectly planned and sentimental.
Catherine: Five pairs of shoes, three dresses, two swimsuits, a mirror, her makeup, and six necklaces.
