Lucketts

It was a girls day on Saturday to Luckett's Virginia.  Luckett's is a town just outside and not far from Washington DC.  I have heard for years about Luckett's spring market.  It is a gigantic flea market filled with old and new treasures.   It would be an interior decorators dream.....lots of original, unique finds and great prices.   Alyssa, Catherine, and I headed out for a mini much needed vacation day.

Polka Dot Shutters......need I say more......

This was the favorite part of the day for the girls.......

I REALLY wanted this luggage.....

Doors.....Doors....Doors.......looked like I was in an Anthropologie magazine for miles!

If only this was my staircase in my cottage!

This is my dream table.  Someday......wish list......the above.....

Highlight......meeting Miss Mustard Seed herself.  I have followed her blog for years here in Pennsylvania Miss Mustard Seed.   Last week I sold one of my favorite pieces in preparation for our move across the country.  I reluctantly sold my antique french blue armoire on Craigs list.  It just so happened when the person came to pick it up.....it was Miss Mustard Seeds husband.  I can't tell you how thrilled I was to sell my favorite hutch to someone I follow and admire.

Miss Mustard's seeds book.....LOVE it!.....  and yes I want the chair on the cover.

Notice the random car and dummy on top.....feast for the eyes....for all eclectics...

More doors......Cath convinced she could open.  If only ........

I am so grateful for experiences, and mini adventures.  Life is full of work, craziness, and unknowns......with  new moves, new houses, new jobs.  I love that I could escape for just a moment on a mini adventure with my favorite people.  There is always beauty to be found!
