Dad and Sylvia came to town for a visit. The kids were so excited....and the house is always a buzz before we have any family! We LOVE when people come to visit and we love family!

I was busy preparing the table and making a favorite family meal.
It was so wonderful to spend time with family....and I am reminded of the roots from where I came. My Dad is silently strong, and good to the core. He is kind hearted and genuine. I am grateful for his enduring example.
I found a pattern for strawberry pin cushions on youtube. Some local girls were selling these at a nearby craft store.....I decided to jump on the bandwagon and make my own for some christmas gifts. It is that time of year and I need to get prepared.
I set my sewing machine up outside. I sew while my kids make messes, noise, and create chaos around me.
Lets me honest....my kids make messes, noise and created chaos around me anyhow....why not sew a few strawberries in the meantime.
