The week gone by.

Where has the week gone?:)  A hurricane, getting ready for school, church callings, getting back into the groove..........  Alyssa was already for her first day of school today.  We were up, with back packs on, lunch packed, and out the door early for arrival.  We got to the school to find we were the only ones who didn't get the memo (phone problems) that school was closed because of the weather this past weekend.  So disappointed......we have been anticipating Alyssa's first day for two weeks now.  I have thouroughly enjoyed legitimate back to school shopping, fitting in a little sewing session as well.

  It was a gorgeous fall morning..........

Mikey was quite the poser this morning.  Promises of slushies can surely make this boy smile:) 

We ended up at our favorite bakery for cookies and then off to the park to meet friends.
