The Sun Came Out!

It has been record breaking rain, and the flooding has been unbelievable.  We had heavy rains for 7 days straight here in Pennsylvania.  The sun finally came out yesterday for the entire day, and needless to say we were outside the entire day!  It is amazing what Vitamin D does for the spirits.

My neighbor had a yard sale, and I got a couple of buys I am very excited about.  I have been looking for a coffee table for my living room, and for $15 found this.

 I am sure I will eventually paint it....but for now...it is perfect, and warms up the room a bit just in time for fall.

With Catherine's birthday coming soon, I thought she needed an over the top hair piece.



I was quite excited how it turned out.  I thought it would be a little much......but then again is there such a thing as too much for a birthday girl?
