The week!

Back to school week.....let me sum it up.

Setting all my clocks 5 minutes ahead..... determined not to be late anywhere for at least the first few weeks.:)  Not so sure that really works.
Backpacks packed meticulously with specific water bottle, lunch box, and pencil specifications that had to met by Alyssa.
Cool gear worn....it was close to 100 degrees the first day of school.
No crying on any one's part, except for Catherine who is determined she needs to join the big kids.
Mom starting a house project ......painting the kitchen......which turned out to be quite a mess, and ended up hiring neighbors to help save me.
Tons of paperwork that needs to be filled out.
A last minute Dr. appointment.  Mikey broke out with a horrible rash just a few days before the big first day of Kindergarten.
Kindergarten orientation where I realized I was truly the ONLY one with a baby, a toddler, and a kindergartner....(not quite in Utah anymore).
A grand back to school dinner that turned out to be chicken nuggets, and french fries.

A bit of a relief that the first week is done, marked off, and we are set to go.

Alyssa whizzing past me.....too cool for school with her new princess helmet and all.  I truly am just trying to catch up with this one these days.  She has quite the agenda and seems just so grown up as of late.
