HURRY UP FALL!!!!!! Baked Apples with Oatmeal Streusel Topping - *a little over half stick (1/4 cup melted butter) *1/2 cup oats *1/2 cup flour (sub GF flour) *1/2 cup brown sugar *1 tsp cinnamon *pinch of ground ginger *pinch of salt - Fill and top apple halves with the mixture. Bake at 350 F until tops are golden brown and apples swell, about 30 minutes. - thanksgiving!!

Super Simple.....very delicious.  5 minute prep time.  30 minute bake time....and there you have it.

Core your apples.
Topping:  1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Fast, Fallish, and Fantastically simple.

I have made them since on multiple occasions.....

My next item in keeping with the fallish season I am going to make are these.

Acorns....Donut Hole, Pretzel Stick, Nutella (or canned frosting) and chocolate sprinkles.. Thee are so cute!

Donut holes, dipped in nutella or chocolate frosting, with a pretzel stick, and brown sprinkles.

I may even make them as a treat for tonight's big debate.

We are ready for the big Romney Obama face off tonight.

A picture of Sammy just three weeks old in his Romney gear.  Our dear friends Dr. Farzin and his family gave these to us as part of a baby present.  Is that not the cutest.....:)
