I got hooked on Swig cookies this past summer in Utah. My sister introduced me. They are so incredibly good. I am not typically a sugar cookie fan....but these are different. I went to a swim party the other week and a friend of mine made cookies that tasted just like the swig ones I had loved in Utah. She found the recipe on Vintage Revivals blog.
Last week I ventured and baked one of my days away. I have since made a couple more batches and am hooked. The recipe I used is found here on Vintage Revival.
The key like she mentions on her blog is to refrigerate the cookie, but keep the frosting at room temperature. The frosting pretty much MAKES the cookie.
