The 4th Continued!

So it is midnight......everyone asleep.....I am exhausted but I just can't help re-counting a memorable 4th.  This picture of amazement during fireworks in Alyssa's eyes says it all.....

It was really quite a simple day, but I am happy to report I fulfilled my 4th of July list which included.... fireworks, a pool,  bar-b-q, watermelon, and strawberry pie.  We were lucky enough to have good company of fun friends which always is a blessing.  Mike was the photographer for the night time festivities and captured some adorable little faces......

We were celebrating today not only the birth of our nation, but also, Mike now being an official third year resident, not having to take any more call on the holidays.  It is the small things in life that sometimes can be worthy of  biggest celebrations.
